Our Enterprise Security Engineering team – work on Zero trust security solutions. Our mission is to provide Threat protection solutions to enterprises on world class Akamai platform. Enterprise Threat Protector proactively identifies, blocks, and mitigates targeted threats such as malware, ransomware, phishing. And also on DNS data exfiltration, and advanced zero-day attacks
Partner with the best
As a Senior Release Engineer, support our build and release systems across our globally distributed team. Working cross functionally with Enterprise Engineering, Development, Reliability Engineering and other teams. Help to define release and deployment process. Implement and support our CI/CDs systems and support network deployments, accelerating building and releasing software
As a Release Engineer Senior II, you will be responsible for:
Providing technical expertise on release process and management. Support our build and release systems across our globally distributed team
Designing and implementing tools and CI/CD pipelines that automate building, testing and releasing software
Planning and track deployments on to the Akamai Edge network. Communicating designs and implementation within the team and other groups across the company
Managing and facilitating engineering and release plans, execution and workflows
Installing, maintaining, and improving virtual / containerized machines used for testing
Collaborating with other software engineering teams to influence and shape the design process and product development

Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
Experience of 10yrs in Release train management – Planning , Communication and coordination and in Build systems
Be familiar in Jenkins pipelines for automating builds, tests, release workflows, CI/CD tools and technologies
Experience in Linux and scripting languages such as Python, shell scripting. Familiar with version control systems such as Git and perforce
Experience in Virtualization, Containers and Docker. Knowledge on Azure, AWS, Orchestration and configuration frameworks – Ansible, Chef, Puppet will be a plus
