A walk-in-interview will be held at ESIC Hospital & ODC (EZ), Joka for immediate engagement and drawing up
of panel for future engagement of Senior Residents under Residency Scheme in ESI PGIMSR, ESIC Medical College
and ESIC Hospital & ODC (EZ), Joka in the following departments/specialties. Engagement of Senior Residents will
initially be for a period of one year and may be renewed/extended on yearly basis for a total period of 3 years
including the initial one year, subject to satisfactory performance. Further the panel may remain valid for a period
of three months from date of publication of result and may be cancelled/invalidated earlier without assigning any
reason. Candidates who have completed 3 years tenure as Senior Resident in Govt. Institution need not to
apply. Senior Residents who are already working in any Govt. Institution shall apply through proper channel.
The total period, however, should not exceed the maximum period of three years.

appropriate category, candidates from other category can be considered for appointment on contractual basis for period of
less than 45 days. The contract will be renewable with further advertisement in absence of reserved candidates [Vide Order

NOTE-1:At the time of Interview the candidates should bring along with them Original plus Attested copies of

2. Educational qualifications certificates/mark sheets from Matriculation or equivalent onwards,
3. Experience certificate (if any),
4. Proof of Age (Matriculation certificate/Admit Card),
5. Caste certificate (in case of OBC candidate, updated OBC certificate in Govt. of India Format to be submitted),
Disability Certificate from Competent Authority,
6. 2 recent passport size photographs and
7. Filled up Annexure- II & III.
CRITERIA OF INCOME & ASSETS (For Economically Weaker Section or EWS):
Persons who are not covered under the scheme of reservation for SCs, STs and OBCs and whose family has gross annual
income below Rs. 8.00 lakh (Rupees eight lakh only) are to be identified as EWSs for the benefit of reservation. Income shall also
include income from all sources i.e. salary, agriculture, business, profession, etc. for the financial year prior to the year of application.
Also persons whose family owns or possesses any of the following assets shall be excluded from being identified as EWS,
irrespective of the family income:-
1. 5 acres of agricultural land and above;
2. Residential flat of 1000 sq.ft. and above;
3. Residential plot of 100 sq. yards and above in notified municipalities;
4. Residential plot of 200 sq. yards and above in areas other than the notified municipalities.
The property held by a “Family” in different locations or different places/cities would be clubbed while applying the land or
property holding test to determine EWS status.
The term “Family” for thispurpose will include the person who seeks benefit of reservation, his/her parents and siblings
below the age of 18 years as also his/her spouse and children below the age of 18 years.
INCOME AND ASSET CERTIFICATE ISSUING AUTHORITY AND VERIFICATION OF CERTIFICATE:
The benefit of reservation under EWS can be availed upon production of an Income and Asset Certificate issued by a
Competent Authority. The Income and Asset Certificate issued by any one of the following authorities in prescribed format as given
in Annexure- I shall only be accepted as proof of candidates claim as belonging to EWS:-
1. District Magistrate/ Additional District Magistrate/Collector/Deputy Commissioner/ Additional Deputy
Commissioner/1st Class Stipendiary Magistrate/Sub-Divisional Magistrate/Taluka Magistrate/Executive
Magistrate/Extra Assistant Commissioner.
2. Chief Presidency Magistrate/Additional Chief Presidency Magistrate/Presidency Magistrate.
3. Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tehsildar and
4. Sub-Divisional Officer or the area the candidate and/or his family normally resides.
NOTE-2: THE CANDIDATES SHOULD REPORT AT 09 AM FOR VERIFICATION OF DOCUMENTS AT ADMINSTRATIVE

Terms & Conditions:
1. Private practice of any kind will not be allowed.
2. No TA/DA will be admissible for joining purpose.
3. Candidate selected for engagement will have to execute a contract on a stamp paper of Rs. 100/-. The original
contract will be with the hospital and its copy will be with candidate. Cost of the stamp paper will be borne by the
candidate.
4. On engagement Senior Residents will be required to deposit security of Rs. 32000/- (Rupees thirty two thousand
only) through Demand Draft in favour of ESI Fund Account No. 1 at the time of joining, which is refundable only
after completion of engagement period and on production of “No dues certificate”.
5. Residential accommodation/quarter will be provided to the selected Senior Residents under Residency Scheme
subject to availability. If provided accommodation, the ESIC Hospital, Joka will not allow any House Rent Allowance
(HRA). In case of non acceptance of quarter facilities by him/her in spite of availability of the quarter the ESIC
Hospital, Joka authority can deduct admissible HRA from his/her salary.
