About the role
At Zip, we build cloud-native software applications that serve millions of customers and process billions of dollars in payments. We use microservices, domain-driven design and event-driven architectures to ensure scalability and performance as we grow, and all this presents some fascinating engineering problems for our squads to solve.
The Wallet Experiences squad are responsible for developing new features for the Zip app and provide our customers initiatives such as BPAY integration, gift cards and subscriptions.

As a Senior .NET Engineer in this squad you will have the opportunity to work on the integration of crypto currency into our core products as well as other exciting product offerings in the pipeline!
To help us level up, you’ll bring:
Experience with Software Development, with expertise in .Net Core
Experience in building production grade Web API using .Net Core
Experience with any event-based systems such as Kafka/SNS/SQS
Excellent understanding of DDD and TDD practices
Experience with AWS services
Strong NoSQL database knowledge – DynamoDB or MongoDB
Bonus points for:
Experience with infrastructure-as-code such as Terraform/Cloud Formation
Experience with Kubernetes
Experience with React and NextJS
Experience with NodeJS
