Job Description : The NVIDIA TAO team is hiring a Senior System Software Engineer with strong experience in Deep Learning to work on Automatic Speech Recognition, Natural Language Processing, and Text to Speech models, frameworks and applications. We craft building blocks to make AI easy to develop, integrate, and deploy. We are developing faster and easier ways to accelerate training and quickly build highly accurate and performant, domain-specific AI models in Computer Vision and Conversational AI domain. We develop new ways to make this technology accessible to a broader audience.

What you will be doing:
Develop Deep Learning Neural Network Models for Automatic Speech Recognition, Natural Language Processing, and Text to Speech conversion.
Use TensorFlow, PyTorch, and other Deep Learning Frameworks to develop and test Conversational AI models.
Implement the full Conversational AI processing pipeline for real-time and embedded systems on NVIDIA GPUs
Performance evaluation and optimization of the model.
What we need to see:
MS/M.Tech/PhD with strong focus in Deep Learning/Machine Learning
2-3 year validated experience in state of the art DL models in at least one of Computer vision, Natural Language Processing or Automated Speech Recognition
Excellence in one of PyTorch and TensorFlow tools and middleware development.
Proven ability to write clean and performant Python code.
Strong in algorithmic coding skill in Python
Data engineering skills involving cleaning, augmenting and generating synthetic dataset
Ability to measure and optimize ML/DL model/code for performance and resource usage
Development and deployment of production DL pipelines, and its maintenance.
Knowledge of Docker, and exposure to platform like Kubernetes
Efficiently communicate and collaborate with globally distributed engineering teams

Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Has 2-3 years experience in Automatic Speech Recognition, Natural Language Processing, Text to Speech
Crafted libraries and frameworks for DL applications.
Fitting models on resource constrained embedded / edge devices
Applied techniques such as pruning, quantization, or compression to reduce memory requirements
Presented in industry or academic conferences of repute.
