Job Description : You will be working with a group of software and QA engineers to build microservices that serves as foundation of Lionbridge’s enterprise applications, which deliver high quality content, translation, machine translation, and over-the-phone interpretation services to over 2,000 customers worldwide. Your team will have a significant impact on the future direction taken by R&D and play a pivotal role in modernizing Lionbridge’s technology stack. Our highly collaborative geo-distributed environment means you will be working with a diverse group of talented people continuously innovating and improving our systems.
Responsibilities
Design and build microservices that help connect various Lionbridge’s applications and provides common functionalities
Create detailed design of software components
Write high quality unit tested code
Peer review other developers’ code
Provide effort estimate to team lead and product management
Provide dev-level support, interact with internal and external clients to identify and resolve issues
Review documentation
Qualifications and Experience
The successful candidate should have the following experience and qualifications:
4+ years’ experience as a developer with C# and .NET frameworks
1+ years of experiences with Azure microservice/serverless application development and storage
Experience with agile methodology
Strong knowledge of software design and implementation best practices
Strong knowledge of relational database
Should be a self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player
Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to express thoughts clearly, ability to listen and contribute effectively in a remote team environment
Additional Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with developing cloud-based server application in high traffic/scalability situation
Experience with NoSQL database
Experience with container technologies (Docker, K8s, etc.)
Experience with CI/CD
Experience with frontend technologies: CSS/HTML/JavaScript/ Node.js, popular frontend frameworks (such as Angular, React, etc.)
Experience with other public cloud technologies, such as AWS
Experience with any of the following technologies and systems: content management system, e-commerce system, translation technologies, continuous integration
Educational : Qualification from Technical Background, BE/B-tech Computer Science or MCA
