Job Description : Disney Media & Entertainment Distribution (DMED) brings together the Company’s best-in-class product, technology, and commercialization teams together into one global organization. DMED is responsible for the P&L management and all distribution, network and engineering operations, sales, advertising, data, and certain key technology functions worldwide for the Company’s content engines. DMED also manages operations of the Company’s streaming services including Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+ and Disney+ Hotstar; and domestic broadcast and cable television networks.

About the Team
Looking for an opportunity to move fast and make a global impact? We are looking for an enthusiastic program manager for the “International Expansion” team who can work independently in a fast paced, ambiguous environment. This team’s charter is to expand Disney+ Hotstar’s presence globally and localize product experience to make these countries successful.
As program manager, you will collaborate cross-functionally with the product managers, engineering, legal, international business & external teams to bring the product into new regions. You will influence key product decisions, roadmap, define functional requirements, high level processes, manage all aspects of the project execution – including writing business requirements, maintaining the project schedule, resolving or mitigating issues and risks, and communicating results throughout the organization. You bring clarity in a chaotic situation. You have analytical capabilities, strong writing skills, a strategic mindset, enjoy and excel at working with tech teams.

Your Key Responsibilities
Working cross-functionally with key stakeholders like product & business to identify critical business needle movers.
Collaborate w/ teams to prioritize initiatives, track progress & ensure a consistent high-bar on excellence and project delivery.
Lead the effective and efficient delivery of large complex cross-functional projects.
Responsible for end to end execution of key projects like country launches, country growth initiatives etc.
Work w/ product managers to influence & shape International expansion roadmapIdentify, assess, track and mitigate issues and risks at multiple levelsCreate, maintain and disseminate project information to stakeholders.
Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities.

12 years working in consumer technology companies
Proficient knowledge of Program Management principles and processes.
