Job Description : Service Charge Finance OfficerReporting to the Service Charge Team Leader, the Service Charge Finance Officer will provide a comprehensive and professional service charge function to Great Places Housing Group.About the role:You will support budget holders in the annual setting of service charges including providing historic costs, group contract costs and ensuring templates balance and are accurate with costs split correctly between leaseholders, tenants and housing benefit eligible and ineligible charges. You’ll produce annual accounts for audited and non-audited schemes in accordance with the group timetable.You’ll ensure the responsibilities of the post are carried out in a way that reflects the standards, vision and values of Great Places and deliver value for money, manage resources effectively and efficiently, ensuring that targets (financial and non-financial) are met.About You:The successful candidate will be qualified to minimum GCSE grade C or equivalent in English and maths and will have service charge experience. You will be competent with the use of full range of Microsoft Office and will have the ability to complete tasks in an accurate and timely manner when working under pressure. You will also have good written and verbal communication. The ability to work flexibly and when needed outside normal working hours is also essential.You may have experience of the following: Service Charge Finance Officer, Rent and Service Charge Officer, Service Charge Accountant, Finance Officer, Finance Assistant, Finance Administrator, Accounts Assistant, Accounts Administrator, Rent and Income Officer, etc.About our company:Great Places Housing Group is not your average housing association.
