In order to support VMware Cloud Providers who deliver managed and self-service infrastructure and application services to their customers, the CSBU provides software and solutions that can:
Enable VMware Cloud Providers to grow their top line revenue by delivering new, creative services to market quickly and consistently across a variety of end point devices
Enable VMware Cloud Providers to capture the transition to a Multi-Cloud world by enabling them to become Managed Services Providers (MSPs) for VMware Cloud on AWS (VMC) and VMware Cloud Services.
Streamline customer adoption of VMware Cloud Provider’s services via workload compatibility and freedom of movement across clouds – private, public, managed or hybrid
Deliver operational efficiencies to enable VMware Cloud Providers to maximize their profitability through policy based automation and management of their cloud infrastructure – compute, storage and networking.
We deliver these solutions to VMware Cloud Providers through VMware Cloud Provider Program (VCPP), which supports a global ecosystem of thousands of partners. As the world’s largest network of validated cloud services based on VMware technology, the VCPP Program enables Provider to use VMware products and solutions on a pay-as-you-go subscription basis, and provides them with creative business, technical and marketing support, so that they can deliver next generation cloud services.
Job Role and Responsibility:
We are searching for a talented, dynamic, hands-on Performance Automation Engineer to be part of CIBG Cloud Director team Bangalore.
Role:
As part of CIBG VMware Cloud Director team, you will partner with development scrum teams, product management, Global Support Services and other partners to ensure on time and high-quality delivery of vCloud Director releases.
In this role, you will design test strategies and build automation tests to qualify VCD releases.Implement and enhance automation framework.Design high level test approaches and implementing detailed test plans.Develop and maintain Scale/Performance tests for Vcloud director productCommunicate technical dependencies and concerns/issues of implementations effectively.File accurate bug reports and work with developers in debugging/analysis
Required Skills:
In this role, you will work independently and as a member of a team of engineers. You have the ability to work in a fast pace environment demonstrating autonomy in conforming to strategic intent while adhering to team values.
Preferred Skills:

Working knowledge of performance and scalability testing of enterprise applications
Experience with Java, TestNG/JUnit, etc.
Experience with Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins
Experience with performance testing tools such as Jmeter
Have experience with databases like MSSQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL
Experience with Containers, Kubernetes, AWS, and VMware products is an asset
