About the Role
As a Social Content Manager your goal will be to make IMDb, India’s most influential entertainment publisher on social platforms. Day to day, that will mean, to set the strategy and work with other teams to curate and create content for social channels, and develop new audiences across for IMDb in India on social channels. These channels will bring the joy of discovering content to the social feed, celebs answering fan questions, aiding fans with watch decisions and enabling them to share their passion with the world.
Key job responsibilities
Create strategy to launch IMDb’s presence on social media
Develop and maintain an editorial tone and perspective for the IMDb handles that match the needs of a content enthusiast
Has a pulse for pop culture trends on different platforms and audiences, and find ways for us to participate in relevant entertainment conversations on social
Developing unique and ownable content formats for social
Maintain regular cadence for channel output along with planned high-impact moments in collaboration with both global and IN stakeholders – video producers, editorial teams, agencies and production houses
Utilize social listening tools to understand entertainment trends in India and provide insights to internal teams
Proficient using photo and video editing programs to create and edit assets
