Within the Smart Home Customer Experience organization, we are looking for talented Software Engineers to become part of Smart Home Device Health! Device Health engages with teams across Alexa, Smart Home and our third-party partners to develop the tools and services that help customers solve device issues, both manually and automatically.

A day in the life
Device Health Software Engineers work with product managers to understand the customer. They turn customer needs into technical requirements and development plans. In this role, you will be a senior engineer who both contributes directly and provides leadership and mentoring to more junior members of the team. You will be part of our daily standups, sprint planning, and on-call rotation. You will support the team as we address tickets, contribute to technical and business docs, and present to senior leadership.

Experience working on mobile OS (Android, iOS, FireOS) and React Native platforms
Experience developing cloud software services and an understanding of design for scalability, performance and reliability
Experience across front-end user interfaces, business logic, and data tiers
