Role and responsibilities :
As part of a cross-functional team, you will be responsible to design and develop Plivo’s Voice platform.
Collaborate with Developers, QA Engineers, Product Managers, and Technical Leaders on new product specifications/enhancements and execute the feature roadmap.
Articulate complex problems, communicate viable architecture and design approach in a clear and concise manner.
Ensure that features/products can be scaled easily, are highly available, meet all non-functional and functional requirements, are easy to maintain.
Ensure delivery of quality, performant, readable, and well-tested code.
Thrive in a collaborative team environment, work with ambiguous product requirements, and shared backend APIs.
Provide thought leadership in building a highly scalable/performant API stack and bring your passion for technology to motivate and inspire on a day-to-day basis.
Skills Required
5+ years of architecture, design, and programming experience preferably in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
Experience with building RESTful high-performance, highly-available, and scalable distributed systems.
Experience in algorithms, data structures, and computational complexity, coupled with solid problem solving and debugging skills.
Hands-on experience with one of the key cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) for the creation and scaling of large scale distributed systems(compute, messaging, notifications, caching, data stores, monitoring, CI/CD, etc)
Programming experience with Python, Golang, and Lua will be a plus
Knowledge of BDD/TDD, hands-on experience with Unit testing, Integration testing is desirable.
