Job Description
Calculating sales and use tax in a correct and efficient way is of highest importance for doing business in North America. All sales transactions for United States and Canada uses Vertex regardless of happening in a store or online. High availability and correctness are requirements for our success.
In archiving of financial data, cost effectiveness, simplicity in structure, and long-term securely accessible data storage is important. Regulations such as for Accounting, GDPR, Personal Data & following Country specific guideline is a must.
We in H&M are undergoing through cloud journey and looking for your knowledge in developing solutions in Azure along with your interest in making the journey together with the rest of the team. The role is varied in scope, technology and can entail the development of innovative solutions in the cloud, delivering cloud migration projects, and supporting development teams with DevOps technologies.
Accounting rules differs from country to country and being financial compliant is of utmost importance. The combination of being careful with the data we handle and curious on how to simplify work is important.
Qualifications
Mandatory requirements, both competence and tools:
Full stack developer responsible for designing, developing & maintaining both front-end and back-end of the application using cloud technology.
At least three years of experience in developing software using language such as .Net, Java, JavaScript or similar programming languages.
Full stack application development experience with Microsoft Technologies, .Net Framework 4.5, C#, SQL Server, Angular.
Experience with front end languages such as HTML, XML, CSS and JavaScript.
Demonstrated experience in various cloud solution development preferably in Azure. Experience in working with Azure DevOps, Azure Function App, Azure Integration Services and Azure cloud storage services.
Experience working in Agile development environment.
It is beneficial if you have previous or knowledge from
Awareness of networking and internet protocols within cloud infrastructural landscape
Knowledge about application re-engineering, data volume management & application archiving
Accounting knowledge or working with financial data across various platforms
