The People Also Ask team is hiring a full stack developer who can help us build the next generation backend and frontend experiences that would delight our customers.
As a software engineer on this team, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and owning software and services to enable high performant, delightful web sites and applications. You will be engineering these solutions while enabling solid engineering practices including CICD, automation tooling and telemetry insights across our web sites. You will be working in a collaborative and fun environment with peers across disciplines including PMs, designers, developers, and scientists.

The WebXT Team in Hyderabad, is part of Microsoft’s India Development Centre(IDC) in Hyderabad (and home offices at cities across the country for the time being). Responsibilities
Obsession about customer experience
Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable and always available services which deliver delightful and finely crafted user experiences on Bing.
Collaborate with different teams across discipline to achieve the above.
Analyze risks and compromises with various design choices
Solve problems relating to mission critical services and build automation to prevent problem recurrence
Identify and fix or drive fixes systemic issues.
Qualifications
BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 4+ years of relevant experience
Experience with building web experiences and knowing the web technologies
Experience on .net and modern UX technologies such as react/angular, nodeJS.
Hands on experience with CSS, typescript/JS and C#
Excellent software design and coding skills and understanding of OO concepts.
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and collaboration skills.
Great analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong bias for quality and engineering excellence.
Passion for new technologies, quality, and customer satisfaction
Ability to debug and resolve issues spanning multiple subsystems.
Firm sense of accountability and ownership for end-to-end project lifecycle.
Experience with GIT.
Ability to provide technical guidance and mentorship.
