About the Digital Citizenship Tech Organization:

Our organization i.e. Global Risk and Compliance -Digital Citizenship Tech focuses on managing and delivering world-class products, driving policy compliance, creating partnerships, and developing pipelines and self-service tools. Responsible for Global Privacy Technology Product implementation(s) so that we can earn customers and associate trust.

Successful Candidate:

As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will work on everything from internal customer-facing web applications using cutting-edge open source frameworks, to highly available RESTful cloud services, to back-end systems powered by rest API and Microsoft cloud. You’ll bring solid experience in emerging and traditional full stack technologies such as Sprint Boot, RESTful Web Services, Angular, React, JavaScript, and NodeJS, GitHub, Microservices and DevOps mindset to name a few.

What You’ll Do:

Use your Engineering experience to develop and maintain a suite of UI component library distributions in React, and a suite of shared services.
Perform complex application web development activities in the latest technologies: AngularJS, Typescript, Node.js, Java, HTML, CSS, RESTful Web Services, GitHub and more.
Create features that are scalable, accessible and renders effectively across multiple browsers, operating systems, and device types (Desktop, mobile, tablet, etc.)
Collaborate with Product Owners, Designers, and other developers on different permutations to find the best solution possible.
Consult with and support consuming teams, setting them up for implementation success.
Find ways to improve upon the existing components, making them more easily consumable and more performant.
Ensure distribution and consumption of components is operating like a well-oiled machine.
Along with other platform engineers and our content team, co-create educational curriculum and materials that enable consumers of the components and shared services
Ideate on and create platform tooling that improves our process and/or improves the developer experience for consumers.
Perform engineering activities for performance tuning and deep monitoring of applications and services
Work with business partners, architects, and other groups to identify technical and functional needs of the system, determine the priority of work, and ensure integrated end-to-end design and delivery
Leverage DevOps practices for Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree
At least 4-6 years of experience in software engineering

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s Degree
2+ years of experience in Agile practices
1+ years of experience with GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another public cloud service
4+ years of experience in at least one of the following: Java, Spring Framework, Javascript/TypeScript, Angular/React.js, or Node.js
1+ years of experience working on streaming data applications (e.g. Kafka)
3+ years of experience in open source frameworks

Solid Experience in developing scalable Event driven applications.
Good to have: worked on containerized ecosystems (Kubernetes, Docker)
