Job Description : The Role
This position can be based in Medini, Johor, and/or Singapore.
Description
As a key member of the Engineering Team, you will drive the development of great user experiences for our clients. You will participate in the whole software development lifecycle, designing, developing, testing, and enhancing mission critical web and mobile applications to fly drones, visualize drone data, and provide key services to the drone industry. In this exciting role, you will interact with a wide range of cutting edge UX technologies, including web, mobile, mapping, VR/AR, and 3D stacks.
This role involves significant interaction with other teams in the firm based in both Singapore and Malaysia, as well as a strong focus on process and cybersecurity.

Responsibilities
Design and mockup front end applications by working closely with the business teams, in particular the Product and Project teams, to develop new business features according to Product roadmaps or Project requirements
Develop front end applications for web, desktop, mobile, and VR / AR environments, by working closely with other engineering teams, in particular the Backend, DevOps, and Compliance teams.
Maintain and upgrade front end technologies, ensuring compatibility with target platforms and dependencies.
Sustain mission critical production systems, working closely with the Sysadmin team to investigate and resolve issues in accordance with the required service levels.

Ideal Profile
Requirements
Experience in at least one frontend technology such as JavaScript, Android (Java / Kotlin), iOS (Swift), functional programming, ReactJS + Redux, or Electron, including build toolchains, automation test, and performance measurement tools
Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science or related fields, or significant relevant experience
Experience in designing mockups, implementing user interfaces, and performing user experience and human computer interaction testing and analysis.
Experience with publishing apps to App Store, Play Store, or other app marketplaces
Strong fundamentals in software engineering concepts, design patterns, and algorithms
Strength in interpersonal and communication skills
Experience in Product Development for mobile or web applications a plus
Experience with GIS, AR/VR, or any 3D visualization technologies is a plus!
