Job Description
As a Solution Architect – Apache Hadoop , you will be part of agile team to build healthcare applications and implement new features while adhering to the best coding development standards.
Your key responsibilities include:
Be proactive, with full ownership of the engagement. Build scalable client engagement level processes for faster turnaround & higher accuracy
Define Technology / Big Data strategy and roadmap for client accounts, and guide implementation of that strategy within projects
Drive excellent project management required to deliver complex projects, including effort/time estimation, building detailed WBS, managing critical path, and using PM tools and platforms
Define the end to end solution architecture for large scale technology projects
Work with distributed teams while maintaining highest standards in collaboration and communication
Lead and mentor junior resources
Education
Preferably B.Tech degree Computer Science or related field
Technical Certifications are desirable
Mandatory Skills
Minimum 12 + years of hands on experience in software development and minimum 5-6 years of hands on experience with Big Data technologies on large & complex projects
Must have strong hands on experience with Spark, PySpark, Python, Scala, Cloud and ETL
Must have knowledge and experience with best practices on Big Data Platform
Must would have played lead role from last 5 years or architect role from last 2 years on designing, developing, and upscaling enterprise applications on Big Data and Cloud Platform
Knowledge of advanced and variety of architecture, tools and concepts across all layers of the modern distributed technology stack (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Cassandra, MongoDB, and similar)
Knowledge and experience in cloud architectures and cloud tools (Azure/GCP/AWS)
Deep technical expertise in distributed processing, real-time, and scalable systems
Deep expertise in building large scalable production systems
Knowledge and experience of deploying and maintaining large scale advanced systems in production environments
Ability to independently manage client engagements from start to finish, delivering actionable insight within established timelines and budget
Strong analytical thinking skills. Ability to creatively solve business problems, innovating new approaches where required
Strong organizational awareness and the ability to work effectively at multiple levels within an organization. Equally comfortable in discussing technical/analytical details with technical thought leaders as explaining technical subject matter with a non-technical audience, in particular, high-level executives
Experience with Agile development methodology; ability to work with multi geography/site teams
An automation mindset including monitoring, reporting, iterating, and CI/CD practices
Experience with developer tools like Git, Maven, Eclipse/VS Code or other major IDEs and commonly used open source components
Desired Skills
Experience of working in a consultative capacity (internal or external) and across the sales-to-project closure process will be added advantage
Kubernetes experience preferred
Good knowledge in Kafka, Kinesis, Spark Streaming or Flink is a plus
