The Organization: Marketing Operations (MO)
The Marketing Operations (MO) team is an operational arm of Chegg Marketing and is critical to its success. The team is involved in acquiring customers through multiple marketing channels like organic search, paid search, email, social, affiliate, and display. Going beyond customer acquisition, MO participates in analysing students’ behavioural trends to enable better business outcomes. The team also monitors and assesses the industry landscape to generate actionable insights.
Responsibilities
Identify opportunities with current or potential new affiliate partners
Identify new growth opportunities (new partner categories, shift in user engagements, identify international markets, etc.).
Contract and deal negotiations with current and potential partners,
Coordinate with the Legal team when required
Produce copy and assets for affiliate listings and landing pages,
Coordinate with the copywriters and designers where needed
Carry out competitor analysis and regularly review Chegg listing to ensure the content is up to date and the proposition is competitive.
Provide analysis on performance on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. Proactively suggest and test conversion improvements.
Implement tagging, tracking and attribution required to measure performance
Prepare and deliver reporting showing progress of KPIs against plan.
Perform SWOT analysis of competitive affiliate programs
Collaborate with team business leads and analytics team to forecast goals for channel
Collaborate with MarTech/Engineering team and affiliate platform to troubleshoot issues when they arise
Manage disputes/escalations with a strategic mindset.
Manage a small team of associates and/or, agency.
Requirements:
Experience using Impact Radius , affiliate marketing platform.
Have at least 4 years of full-time experience in an Affiliate Marketing role with strong understanding of affiliate marketing.
At least 2 years of experience in Affiliate Program Management or Account Management (in an agency) with proven track record of growth generation
Has an existing relationship with large scale affiliate partners which serve a High school or higher education user base majorly in English Speaking countries such as US, UK, Canada, Australia, India
Strong negotiation skills and experience managing vendors and partners
Be proactive and adaptive to change
Ability to manage multiple projects at a time
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Passion for learning
Have a flexible, approachable attitude with good problem-solving skills
Can work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
