Job Description : ACES Education Sports Educator- Start date ASAP (casual / flexible working hours, suitable for those studying at University). – DBS check required (provided by ACES Education).- Sports based degree and sports coaching experience desirable but not essential.- Must be very keen to learn and to work with us in order to develop.- Must be able to independently travel / hold a full driving licence.Purpose of post- To deliver and monitor a co-ordinated programme of high quality lessons within schools applying effective behaviour management, differentiation and progression.- To be a reflective practitioner to meet the needs of young people in schools and the local community.- Be able to work effectively within the ACES team showing flexibility and proficiency across a range of settings including administration and teaching / coaching.Brief outline of duties/ responsibilities.- To deliver and prepare lessons in schools utilising resources working alongside the ACES team and teachers.- To coach in a range of sports at a local level.- To set up and coach at out of school hours sports clubs, encouraging attendance in particular children who do not usually participate in sport.- To be a positive role model, creating a positive and fun environment which motivates young people to participate in sport or physical activity.- To be committed to continuous professional development relevant to the post and personal training needs supporting future career advancement.- To maintain current knowledge of relevant National Governing Body programmes, policies and practices.Any questions please contact 07748237256Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: From £11.00 per hourSchedule:Monday to FridayApplication deadline: 18/03/2022
