As a key member of the MCHP Automotive Team, the APG Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for implementing team and corporate objectives. The specialist will be responsible for developing our automotive online messaging and social media presence, and for coordinating, managing, and updating internal digital content in support of our global automotive sales and apps teams. The APG Digital Marketing Specialist is the source for global automotive stories, promotions and product launches and acts as a conduit between the Auto Team, BU Product Marketing and Corporate MARCOM, Field Sales and partners worldwide.
Using various content management tools, the specialist will create online digital content for the Automotive Design Center, including system block diagrams, product tables, interactive graphics, text and more. They will also be responsible for creating, managing and maintaining the digital content contained within an internal database utilized by our global Field Sales and Apps team. They will also work with the MARCOM organization to develop social media posts, product ads, marketing campaigns, and collateral in support of virtual and in-person trainings and trade shows.

Job Responsibilities:
Creating, implementing, and updating digital content for the online Automotive Design Center
Developing and executing social media strategy
Developing automotive blogs and content for social media, web and collateral
Develop material for technical briefings/trainings to CEMs
Monitoring automotive landscape and staying informed on automotive trends, industry research and competitive activity
Collaborate with Product Marketing to create appropriate, timely deliverables for the various audiences, which include OEMs, developers and Tier 1 partners.
Working with Automotive partners to develop joint content and promote through various channels.
Provide support for public events, i.e. trade shows; technology updates and product campaigns
Execute APG digital marketing tactics
Utilize web analytics to provide updates to the APG team
Job Requirements
Experience: 7+ years minimum of technical marketing and social media experience
Education: Bachelor’s in Business or Engineering;
Job Requirements:
Superior knowledge of marketing campaign best practices, real-time content marketing, digital and social media marketing
The ability to continually innovate and orchestrate many moving parts is a must along with a natural inclination to measure the effectiveness of marketing activities and strong project management skills.
Direct experience in how to reach and engage with a targeted audience through various digital platforms
Experience with creative work, developing a social media strategy, crafting creative briefs, writing blogs
Knowledge in graphic design (Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus
Experience in working with Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics is a plus
Experience in working with Marketo or similar marketing automation platforms is a plus
Strong communication skills.
Self starter with strong work ethic.
Work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions.
Able to work effectively with teammates virtually
Familiarity with or interest in the automotive industry
