Job Description : Overview:
Clario is looking for a highly skilled Sr Engineers, R&D Software Engineering to provide software design, development, and application support for Clario products whilst adhering to departmental SOPs. In addition, will contribute to the architecture of the products and the development process and also contribute to mentoring junior members of the team.
Responsibilities:
1. Serve as a senior test designer and contributor in a quality engineering team.
2. Review Product Requirement documents and Engineering Functional Specifications, define test strategy, and scope test effort as part of regular planning cycle.
3. Write detailed test plans for assigned features to include manual and automated tests
4. Define test strategy for new product features.
5. Help set the direction, process, and general test methodology for parallel development of the software and automated test suite.
6. Assist other members of the team with technical problems in test environments and script development
7. Work with the software engineering team to resolve issues arising in the test process
8. Develop and maintain manual and automated scripts and libraries for testing the PHT product suite
9. Develop and maintain innovative, repeatable QA test plans based on functional requirements, use cases, user interface designs, system design documents and domain knowledge
10. Work with QA team members, software developers and system and database administrators to trouble-shoot test failures in the various test environments. This may include trouble-shooting database issues using SQL queries, reviewing web server and application server logs, etc.
11. Manage SQE Lab servers as needed

Qualifications:
What we seek –
Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science or related field.
Minimum of 5years of technical experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively in English.
Experience in usage of Source Code Management tools and WorkItem tracking.
Knowledge of software engineering frameworks and methodologies.
Good knowledge of risk management techniques.
Good knowledge of common software patterns.
Knowledge of agile development processes is a plus.
Familiarity with DevOps practice and cloud based software solutions is a plus.
Experience with unit testing and effective supporting design patterns.
Travel requirements for this position are low to none.
