Job Description
Primary Responsibilities & Objectives: ýff Be an active participant in planning and designing product features with the ability to view the product from a customer perspective ýff Collaborate with cross functional teams involved in product delivery ýff Develop, update, maintain and execute automated tests ýff Review and triage test failures and verify fixes ýff Work with team to analyze code coverage using industry standard tools ýff Enhance and extend test automation libraries and frameworks ýff Build testing tools, mock services ýff Manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced Agile environment ýff Participate in on-call rotations, driving bug isolation and helping restore the service ýff Work with minimum of technical supervision ýff Stay current with the latest engineering technologies and best practices Qualifications, Skills & Experience: ýff BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent domain ýff 6+ years of experience in Software Development or Quality Engineering ýff Excellent analytical skills ýff Ability to analyze requirements, develop a test plan/strategy, create and execute test cases, track defects and report results ýff Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming languages: Java ýff Familiarity with JSON and XML ýff Proficient in testing Web Based/Client Server based applications ýff Must have in depth knowledge in automating AWS, API, RESTful web service testing using JAVA (not with Tools). ýff Nice to have experience with Amazon AWS ýff Nice to have experience with Logging tools such as Splunk, Kibana, etc ýff Must have in depth knowledge in using TestNG, Maven and Jenkins. ýff Strong skills in relational and non-relational databases: MySQL/ PostgreSQL, MongoDB or similar ýff Self-motivated, able to learn and research independently ýff Ability to innovate and optimize ýff Relentlessly high standards
