Job Description : Network / Security Engineer L2/L3Role Summary * Project Role : Network/Security EngineerProject Role Description : Define the security architecture, ensuring that it meets the business requirements and performance goals.Management Level : 2Work Experience : 4-5 yearsWork Location : BengaluruMust Have Skills : Sophos FirewallResponsibilities- Hands-on experience in Sophos Firewall (at-least 3-4 yrs. Exp.)- Strong practical knowledge of network concepts including DNS, DHCP, VPN, network protocols, port configuration, link aggregation, spanning tree optimization, and performance tuning.- Strong hands-on L2 level experience on Network Hardware like Managed/Unmanaged Switches, Wi-Fi Devices and networking devices.- Strong knowledge of routing protocols, EIGRP, BGP, and OSPF.- Security Fundamentals: Should be able to understand Explain concepts (NAT, ACL, Access Groups, IPsec, AAA) & have working knowledge and be able to troubleshoot network Protocols.- Basic knowledge in Linux Unix command line- Knowledge of various NW management tools used in enterprise networks.- Good understanding and knowledge of Network and Security- Extensive support of Routing Protocols Technologies such as BGP, OSPF, MPLS VPN, Multicast.- Proficiency in Handling Network related calls regarding cisco, firewall, endpoint, etc.- Must have good knowledge of endpoint security.Other ResponsibilitiesCertification on Fortinet/FortiGate, Sophos FirewallCreation and distribution of knowledge and information with other team members and the companyProviding assistance and cover for other team members where requiredRequired SkillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Should have at least 4 years’ experience in same domain.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Excellent customer service skillsUnderstanding of software development cycleExcellent written and spoken English.Desirable SkillsPrevious experience dealing with support cases or requests via e-mail, telephone and in person.Familiarity with the NBFC sector is advantageous.Requirement gathering and specification planning.Understanding of change and release managementJob Types: Full-time, Regular / PermanentSalary: ₹360,000.00 – ₹450,000.00 per yearSchedule:Day shiftSupplemental Pay:Performance bonusCOVID-19 considerations:yesExperience:Information & Network Security Engineers & Analysts: 5 years (Preferred)Sophos: 4 years (Required)Expected Start Date: 07/02/2023
