The Senior Software Engineer will be a member of the Engineering R&D team working on the development and support of medical devices. HeShe work closely with other members of the engineering staff and key stakeholders to provide technical solutions to engineering problems in critical care patient monitoring product development.

Senior Engineer will own design, development and Quality of deliverables in software development and contribute to design artifacts, software design, software code, test plans, and other project artifacts.

A Day in the Life
Works independently to design and implement software for all involved programs.
Owns the project assignments and aspires to become the go-to person for technical solution
Works closely with technical leadership in software development
Resolves ambiguous requirements working with cross functional teams and guides team to derive
Strongly influences the design of new products, processes, standards, or operational plans
Problems that span a wide range of difficulty and unique issues across functions and/ or business which may cause redirection
Submits invention disclosures to protect IP and helps the team in achieving their goals on research.
Interacts with internal and external customers and vendors at various level including executive leadership.
Functions well in a Virtual team environment and be a role model
Generates high-quality work products.
Evaluates and introduces new tools and technologies to improve
PRINCIPAL WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
Reports to the Engineering Manager
Frequent interaction with team members from other disciplines, particularly embedded and application development engineers, to develop project requirements and other project artifacts such as project schedules. Possible interaction with GBU technical leaders, technical clinicians, third-party vendors, manufacturers, subcontractors and other users.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
8+ years pf experience in software development.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITY
Must have performed Software designer in at least 1 large project
Expertise Experience in Windows Application Development using Microsoft Technologies like C#.NET, VB, VB.NET, .NET Core, and SQL.
Experience with projects that require hardware /software interfacing solutions
Hands-on experience on design and development experience ANSI C and C++
Experienced in OOPS, SOLID Principles and Design Patterns.
Experience in desktop application development: .Net C#, WPF
Experience of Binary data and protocols analysis
Hands-on experience on coding experience in Object-Oriented Design is required.
Device interface communication protocols, TCPIP, UDP, RS-232, USB
Hands on experience in White Box Testing, Integration Testing, Manual and Automation Testing.
Experience in developing algorithms is a plus
Hands on Experience in Application Development using Web Technologies like ASP.NET, HTML/HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery is a plus.
Good understanding of multithreading design
Knowledge of basic communication protocols like USB, RS-232 serial, I2C, SPI, Ethernet
Candidate should be knowledgeable and have experience in software engineering processes and software life-cycle in general.
Medical instruments development experiences a plus
Experience with a documented software development processes or familiarity with FDA and ISO standards like IEC 62304 is a plus
Excellent written and communication skills
Great presentation skills
Excellent communicator, great team player and problem solver.
EDUCATION
Required: – B.E or B.Tech in Computer Sciences, Electronics or Electrical Engineer.
Preferred: – M.E or M.Tech in Computer Sciences, Electronics or Electrical Engineer.
