Job Description

As a Senior member, most of your work will be on new code using some of the most current frameworks and libraries, working primarily with JavaScript/Typescript, RESTful APIs, and web-based frontend. The exact area of the product that you work on will depend on your skills and interests.

Responsibilities
Understanding the key requirements of the Management plane of the VeloCloud product – VeloCloud Orchestrator, architecting a solution and delivering a working prototype and the final product
Build enterprise data centre products which will be deployed across multiple cloud service providers
Work with partners, proposing solutions and hands-on coding.
Preferred qualifications
10+ years of experience in building highly scalable software products, at least 2+ in technical leadership roles
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Subject matter expert in systems design and architecture, having broad systems/application-level understanding.
Solid foundation in any of the programming languages – (Java/ .NET/ Python, JavaScript/Typescript and Go
Strong experience working in backend development, relational databases, scalable architecture
Contribute towards Design, Coding, Code reviews extensively
Familiar with Cloud-native practices on Azure or AWS
Familiar with one of modern UI framework such as ReactJS, AngularJS
Knowledge of server-side web application framework such as NodeJS/Express, Ruby on Rails
Own code quality from writing unit/automated test cases for his own/team code
Test Automation and DevOps Experience
Ability to write complex SQL queries is added advantage
Strong debugging/troubleshooting skills
Familiar working with RESTful APIs and Microservices
May supervise mentorship activities.
Nice to have
Networking knowledge (e.g., SD-WAN, routing, IPSec)
Experience building large scale enterprise products from scratch
Modern horizontally scalable infrastructure.
Cybersecurity experience or expertise.
