Working in a team environment, you will have the challenging opportunity to help architect, design and implement embedded code for state-of-the-art RAID storage systems and solutions. The successful candidate will have experience developing embedded code in C++ and C, expertise in problem-solving and have contributed to technological innovation. In addition, as a senior level position, strong communication skills, both written and verbal are needed as interaction with multiple departments frequently occurs.
About the role – you will:Be responsible for new feature development and customizationDo troubleshooting, Analysis, Isolation & Rectification of IssuesProvide “fixes” for Firmware Releases and/or Patch UpdatesReview hardware designs and schematicsCreate and update the functional spec and/or design documents
About you:Knowledge of FW development, debugging, Linux user processAwareness of Hypervisors/ESX/Virtualization and VMwareUnderstanding of the strengths of software engineering teams and internal issuesProactive and good in problem-solvingTeam player
Your experience includes:Experience developing external storage systemsEmbedded programmingC/C++ programmingObject Oriented DesignKnowledge RAID solutionsKnowledge of SAS/expander topologiesWorking knowledge of PCIe interfacesKnowledge on the Kubernetes and dockerCode coverage tools (e.g., Coverity)Writing code to manage high-performance data pathsCaching algorithmsFault tolerant systemsStorage virtualizationContinuous Code Integration knowledge
