Staff Nurse
Are you an experienced NMC registered band 5 nurse, with a professional emphasis on the delivery of patient focused, high quality evidenced based care?
An opportunity has arisen for a committed registered nurse to join the Cardiology Outpatient Department on a Monday to Friday basis to deliver efficient nursing care within the Nurse led Fast Access Chest Pain Clinic for patients with confirmed or suspected stable angina.
The post holder must have;
Current RN NMC registration
Experience as a band 5 registered nurse
Excellent communication skills
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

The purpose built 50 bedded unit has 17 Cardiology Consultants, an autonomous nurse led Chest Pain Clinic, an established team of Cardiology Nurse Specialists in Heart Failure, Cardiac Arrhythmia and Cardiac Rehabilitation, plus a well-established Cardiac Physiology Team. The unit is comprised of a 12 bedded Coronary Care Unit, 14 bedded Cardiology Day Unit, 3 Catheter Laboratories which provide access to 24/7 Primary Percutaneous Coronary Interventional service to local and regional patients, 5 Echo suites, a TOE/stress echo room and aCardiology Out Patient Department.
