Job Description : BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Experience scripting in modern program languages
4+ years of development or technical support experience
Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems
BS in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field
Experience in Java/Perl/Python/shell scripts
Knowledge of the UNIX/Linux operating system
Knowledge of Java based technologies
Ability to write intermediate level database queries. SQL skills.
Understanding of XML/SOAP, web services, workflow modeling, web application development, and industry-standard commerce systems

We are looking for passionate, experienced support Engineers who can lead support activities for VISA Filings in delivering high quality software solutions to support variety of customer use cases and are scalable to handle amazon volume.

Key job responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:
The SE role in the VISA team is responsible for working with Tech and Non-Tech stakeholders to ensure smooth and on-time vat filings for EU Sellers. The SE is expected to learn the technologies and use the tools required to perform data processing like: Cradle, SQL, Ratchit, Quicksight, AWS technologies like: Lambda, SQS, SNS. Over the past 2 years, we have seen a 50% YOY seller growth and the SE should be invested to automate the manual processes associated with monthly cycles. The SE will be owning the process of driving discussions with PMT and other stakeholders to generate and maintain the metrics and work with SDM to build script and tools for test infrastructure and troubleshooting the bugs reported.

Experience supporting complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
Ability to take a project from scoping requirements through actual launch of the project
Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs for the core system metrics.
