Objectives of the role/position:
10-12 years of experience and specialization in US TaxationExpertise in US Taxation, Tax planning, Corporate Compliance and sound understanding of US GAAP.Effective business and people management skills.Working closely with the US partners and market delivery drivers to identify additional opportunities and identify new servicing areas.Driving operational excellence by developing the best practices using innovation and technology.Initiate new system implementation, People management, Strategic business management and thoughtful leadership.Expertise in handling litigations related to tax and other economic and business laws.Identify, anticipate, and address important tax issues as they relate to final deliverables.Execute assignments in an effective manner including appropriate delegation and monitoring of work.Lead in the process of hiring of efficient candidates for the teams. Initiate the training for the new hires.Coaching, mentoring the staff, team leads and assistant managers to achieve the common goal of the firm by adopting each other’s best practices.Ability to exercise professional judgement in dealing with US tax regulations.Actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities with new/existing clients.Involved in Client Engagement and delivery management for the deliverables.Conduct extensive financial research on Investment, Partnership withholding matrices, composite matrices, and partnership matrices.Should have experience of leading team of 20 to 30 tax professionalsAbility to manage multiple engagements.Work with business teams on work transition.Participate in community of practice, L&D activities
