About this role
Key Purpose of the Role:
To design/develop/review application modules, interfaces and stories using design patterns and get them implemented/deployed with a team of developers, testers
You’ll have the following responsibilities
Responsibilities
To be part of various design/ architectural calls
Understand Business requirements, and translate them to Technical requirements
Guide/Lead vendor teams to achieve the project objective
Work with E2E designers to understand the requirements and provide the component design inputs.
Build the component level designs to cater to the overall E2E Design. Consider Non-Functional and Functional requirements when building the design,
Deliver complex Designs on time and with a high degree of quality
Recommend opportunities for reuse of frameworks and data models where appropriate
Able to liaise with various teams on design, developments & test aspects facilitating the functional aspects and managing the design completion
Reviewing the designs and make sure to align with architecture
Review test cases and code. Ensure that best practices have been adopted when writing test cases or code.
Should have experience in the Agile Development model.
You’ll have the following skills & experience
Essential Skills (Skills without which the person cannot perform the role, limit to a maximum of four skills only )
Experience in Data Engineering, Data transformation, Data Visualization,
Fair understanding of Data modelling, RDBMS, SQL, No-SQL databases,data engineering
Knowledge of data visualization software like IDV, Tableau, Qlik,
Knowledge of RDBMS and experience in understanding DDL, DML and PL/SQL packages.
Working knowledge of AWS cloud – EC2, S3, Route53, Elastic IP, IAM
Possess excellent written and oral communication skills
Clearly articulate solutions to complex problems involving multiple domain areas
Enthusiastic and passionate about building and shipping a great product
Overall Skills and Experience (Include skills that in addition to the essential skills are required for the person to perform the role in a better way )
Good understanding of procedures and application of procedures and concepts within own subject area (and understanding them in the context of the business).
Understands Continuous Integration and is familiar with tools like Jenkins
Has fair experience in Agile Projects and having scrum master will be added advantage.
Applies knowledge/skills to a range of standard and non-standard activities. Interprets client needs, assessing the full requirements.
Exposure to Object oriented concepts and programming
Identifies key issues and patterns from partial/conflicting design and can take a broad perspective to problems and spot new, less obvious solutions. Manages time to meet agreed targets.
Adapts information/style to the audience, explaining difficult issues clearly, to establish consensus and gain agreement.
Ability to troubleshooting in BI tools, Reporting tools and data processing platforms
Knowledge of data processing platforms like Hadoop and Apache Spark is desirable
