Roles & Responsibilities
Description and Responsibilities

Verification and validation of Hardware Device. Experience doing QA on physical devices is a must (not software only)
System Level Testing, Flash devices
Connectivity, Compatibility, Security and Exploratory testing
WIFI, Bluetooth Testing
Writing & Creating Test Cases
Some coding skills is preferred but not required.
Should be able to ramp up quickly using command line tools to flash devices, run commands, grab logs, file bugs etc.
Test and debug pre-released software for defects
Provide clear and detailed written reports of bugs and report steps to the development team
Perform testing from scripted test cases
Follows instructions and accomplishes tasks as directed by the QA Lead or Project Manager
Promptly bring serious defects to the attention of the QA Lead/Project Manager

Requirements

Must have basic knowledge of Android OS devices and be able to work with Propietary Operating Systems
Basic electronics design knowledge of Mobile devices/ smartphones/ CPE devices
1-3 years of OS/ app testing experience on Mobile phones/ Android Smartphones/ CPE data devices is an advantage
Experience with bug tracking software
Good verbal and written communication skills in English & Chinese
Excellent attention to detail, with an ability to multitask and meet deadlines
Ability to work in both a team environment and independently
A strong understanding of the software test cycle process
Familiarity with testing in an Agile Development environment
Aptitude to learn quickly and effectively
Flexibility to work overtime if needed
Prior work experience with Telecom Operators is an advantage
