Job Description : you’ll be our : Test Engineer for Power Electronics within the Hardware Groupyou’ll be based at: IBC Knowledge Parkyou’ll be Aligned with: Design, development and delivery of subsystems to the organization.you’ll be A member of: The Power Electronics TeamWhat you’ll do at Ather:Demonstrate compliance to corporate values and Departmental procedures per requirementsof the corporate QS standards.Demonstrate collaborative culture while staying committed to Technical deliverables.Meet Cost, Quality & Schedule goals for Programs/Projects.Execute White Box EVT and Black Box level DVT as per planned Procedures. Prepare and present test reports.Design and setup test stations for EVT & DVT tests in accordance with safety standards.Assist Benchmarking through execution of DVT tests on competitor offers.Envisage customer use cases and abuse conditions to be included into DVT plans, execute and review compliance reports.Participate and contribute to DFMEA, DFM, DFS and DFR reviews.Carry out regression tests to check for use case sequencing and random abuse conditions.Execute tests identified in DFMEA/PFMEA, generate and review reports.Debug issues during EVT/DVT and help build a database of lessons learnt from the design.Analyze functional dependencies of FW/HW modifications to help decide on regression test plans during FW upgrades or HW changes.Execute SW/FW regression tests per EVT/DVT plans and procedures.Execute safety and regulatory tests at sub-system level per recommended standards, debug issues and recommend corrective actions.Execute component qualification tests as recommended by corporate Framework.Participate in Technical workshops with key equipment manufacturers to enhance automation levels, speed and accuracy of tests.Demonstrate compliance to Component Engineering Framework – Part Qualification.Work with Technical resources from Manufacturers/Suppliers to deliver solutions to issues.Here’s what we are looking for:Expert Level:Power Electronics Product SpecificationsTesting of Converters/Inverters/DrivesThermal Testing, Safety & Regulatory Pre-Compliance TestingRework and soldering of SMD and Through hole devices on PCBAsTest Automation, design of test Jigs and fixturesMSA, Gage R&R, CalibrationAdvanced Level:Testing for Customer use case and abuse conditionsAnalysis of High Frequency Magnetic Components, Electromagnetics.Component level STC, specifications and test procedures.ISO9001-15/QS9000 Quality Systems.Basic Level:HALT/HASS Testing, DFR Testing and Test Bench DesignDefect Screening using statistical analysisSemiconductor Device Characteristics – MOSFETs, IGBTs, Thyristors, Rectifiers.Power Management ICs (Gate Drivers, PWM Controllers, LDOs, Switching Regulators, LED Drivers)Electrolytic and Ceramic Capacitors, NTC, PTCPb-Acid/Li-Ion Battery Charging AlgorithmsEngineering DVT of Power Converters/Inverters/DrivesDFMEAIEC/EN Regulatory StandardsFamiliar Level:ESD Compliance standards, Component and PCBA HandlingConverters/Inverters/Drive Design & AnalysisDebug & Troubleshooting of Converters/Inverters/DrivesAnalog Circuit Design & AnalysisAFMEA, PFMEADFM, DFA, DFC, DFR, DFSRelays, Contactors, MOV, GDTTechnical Risk ManagementEMI/EMCUL/VDE/IEC/BIS/CCC Safety standardsSix SigmaPMP/Agile MethodologyMIL217F/BELLCORE Reliability StandardsEmbedded Design for Power ElectronicsThermal AnalysisTools/Methods:LabVIEW(B), GPIB(A), ORCAD (B), Allegro (F), SOLIDWORKS (F), Crystall Ball (F), PughMatrix (F), Regression Analysis (F), DoE (B)DSO (E), DMM (E), Datalogger (E), Electronic Load (E), Thermal Chamber (E), TorqueSensor (E), Position Sensor (A), Power Supplies (E), Spectrum Analyzer (B), Logic Analyzer(B), Protocol Analyzer (F), Current Probes (E), Thermocouple Testing.You bring to Ather:3-4 years of experience in hands-on testing and evaluation of AC-DC/DC-DC Converters/Motor, Drives/Inverters.B.Tech/Diploma In Electrical/Electronic EngineeringJob Type: Full-time
