Introduction:

Responsible for performance testing activities vis-a-vis NFRs gathering, impact analysis, workload Modelling, performance test plan, test script development, enhancement and test execution.
Detailed report analysis with all KPI metrics and defect reporting.
Knowledgable in Application Performance Monitoring tools like AppDynamics, Wily Introscope etc.
Identify performance bottlenecks

What will you be doing?

Assessing the impact of changes on testing and provide feedback based on impact analysis
Develop VPT Test plan and ensure that it is updated and baselined to reflect changes to the project risk profile, schedule, testing processes etc.
Work with development and functional teams to understand workflow navigation and test data dependacy for test script development and test execution.
Test script enhacements: – appropriately correlated, apply/create correlation rule, parameterized, enabling check points, pushing runtime data and using proper naming convention for all transactions.
Adopt the best practices for developing automated test script and test executions using loadrunner.
Execute benchmark, load, stress, endurance and identify bottlenecks and where they occur.
Monitoring the utilization of server in terms of CPU Utilization, JVM heap utlization, Garbage Collection Mechanisms, Thread Management, Connection Pool, longrunning DB query etc. by using Application Performance Monitoring tools
Should do status/issue(s) updates in daily stand-up call.
Document all problems and issue resolutions.
Collaborate with the relevant teams, to ensure high quality Performance testing

What we’re looking for:
Must have 5 – 7 years of experience in Non-Functional Testing
Working experience in HP Load Runner with Web (Http/Html), Web services and Truclient – web protocols.
Working Experience in UI and Batch application Performance testing.
Strong knowledge of analyzing and interpreting performance tests results, ability to identify bottlenecks.
Should have understanding of Application Server, Web server and Database Server configuration
Experience in Network Monitoring parameters along with Cloud infrastructure & monitoring
Sound understanding of Java/JVM architecture, JVM tuning, GC, Class loading, Thread Dump Analysis, JMX based JVM monitoring.
Good knowledge of monitoring tools like AppDynamics, Wily Introscope.
Good understanding of Load Balancers mechanisms, Virtual servers, Virtual Pools, Rules, Connection & Cookie persistence.
Good understanding of Oracle Architecture. SQL, PL/SQL, Performance Stats, SQL tuning, Explain plan, Tracing tools, Hints, Fragmentation and Partitions.
Analytical ability including root cause identification.
Awareness of Cloud technologies.
Awareness of tools such as Fiddler, wireshark, Insomnia, Jmeter, etc

Skills that will help you in the role:
Understanding of Agile methodologies
Batch monitoring and analysis.
Batch performance testing experience.
Exposure to Trueclient –web, Web Services, REST API/SOAP
Strong Unix & Linux skills, ability to write shell scripts for information gathering purposes.
Good knowledge of monitoring tools like Oracle enterprise manager, Informatica PowerCenter.
