This role offers a the opportunity to work within a Management Accounting team, gaining exceptional exposure to commercial accounting, whilst studying towards your ACCA / CIMA / ACA qualification.

Your key responsibilities

Processing of invoices- including sales and purchases.
Setting up new vendors on finance systems
Preparing payment runs
Preparing all journals to be posted on the appropriate Enterprise Resource Planning system.
Preparing quarter end VAT reports.
Creating month end workbooks.
Updating variance analysis information
Preparing information to support client queries

This role is perfect for a Graduate, who is working towards their ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification with some industry or accounts practice experience.

You will be able to demonstrate experience in at least 2 of the below areas:

Finance function and accounting operations experience
Management reporting (including variance analysis)
Cost and Margin analysis
Preparation of tax compliance returns for VAT
Knowledge of finance function processes (RTR, PTP, OTC)
Understanding of continuous improvement and / or cost saving initiatives
