Are you looking to become a Teaching Assistant in Nottingham and looking for long-term work?
Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for dedicated and flexible individuals who are considering a career as a Teaching Assistant to join us and train to become a Teaching Assistant and work in Primary or Secondary schools in Nottingham ASAP. These positions are to cover additional workload in schools and will be assisting students with 121 catch up and general pastoral support. The Academies that we work with in Nottingham are looking for Trainee Teaching Assistants who can get stuck in, support the teachers and also have the ability to build relationships with the students, engage them in their learning, and offer pastoral support when required. You will be confident, enthusiastic, friendly, a great communicator and be educated to GCSE level with grades of 9 – 4 (A-C) in English and in Maths.
To aid with taking the next steps onto a career in Education we are running a Certified Teaching Assistant Course on March 17th 2022. This course is three hours long and is an Introduction to working in the classroom. It will prepare you begin you work with children, arm you with useful tools to engage and deal with children of all ages.
The Academies and schools are dotted all over Nottingham and so we will be able to place you in schools near to home if you do not drive. Tradewind will offer you full training and lots of CPD to get you confident enough to start your journey of working in schools. Previous experience of working with children or young people is advantageous but not essential.
