SUMMARY
The SAP Globalization Services team localizes SAP products for use in different countries. The team has locations across the world, including Brazil, China, Germany, Hungary, India, Israel, and Russia.
We are seeking a user assistance developer (technical writer) to join our software development unit in Bangalore.
As a member of the Globalization Services UA team, you will have the opportunity to learn and explore a range of product lines spanning SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, Success Factors and many more.
The position is on a full-time, permanent employment basis.
ROLE
As a member of the user assistance team, you are responsible for the UA content of your scrum teams. This would include:Researching and defining terminologyEditing user interface texts to ensure usability and that the texts conform to SAP’s standardsPlanning, researching, and writing the documentation (such as context-sensitive help, user guides) required by SAP’s customers. You will also be required to create product videos, and at times blog about a specific feature.Interactions with SAP’s customers, and partners on UA projects, where relevantBe the UX Advocate for your scrum teams
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
UA developer (technical writer) with at least 3-6 years of technical writing experience.Excellent written and spoken English skillsConfident with UA tools such as Ixiasoft DITA CMS and SAP systems documentation, and DDLC.Exposure to SAP S/4HANA systems and documentation process will be an added advantage.
