What you will be doing:
We are looking for a UIUX Designer to design for UIUX, test and work with mobile development team and product owners to deliver nexus app(s) and support internal & external launch! We are looking for someone who can:
Understand requirements, client pain points, based on each partner, and neXus team mission.
Design low-fi and high-fi wireframes, suggesting copywriting (if applicable).
Assist in refining, enhancing client journey and user experience.
Plan and perform necessary user testing where applicable.
Articulate design concepts and required interaction with stakeholders.
Ensure usability of our application across different platforms, i.e. iOS and Android.
Build libraries and frameworks that support complex mobile applications, speed development efficiency up and improve code quality.
Stay up to date with new industry trends in mobile application.

What you need to be successful in this role:
Demonstrate high quality design practices. This includes participation in all aspects of UX: research, ideation, strategy, interaction design, and visual design
Proven success designing and optimizing high-quality product experiences for a variety of platforms including desktop, web and mobile.
Mastery of UX interaction and design principles and deliverables including rapid prototyping, concept diagrams, user scenarios, wireframes, flows, experience maps, design patterns and annotated comps.
Working knowledge of the capabilities and constraints of web front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap as well as iOS components and Material Design.
Architect system wide design solutions that satisfy both product and engineering requirements.
Be an advocate of simple yet powerful and clear user experience
10+ years of start-up, agency, studio or in-house experience. Financial services / fintech experience is a plus but not a must.
Diploma or above in design equivalent or equivalent industry experience.
Solid understanding of current UI design practices to create an efficient & seamless user experience; and a passion for user interface design and understanding of UX processes.
Understand not just how to structure a design file or a UI toolkit, but what makes a full design system, so these practices ensure a product can scale effectively with design and development completely aligned.
Deep understanding of mobile design conventions is a big plus.
Solid knowledge and experience on Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, Photoshop, Illustrator or Sketch.
Complimenting your visual design ability, you have honed your UX practices to the level where you are able to rapidly make sense of a customer experience and map it across user flows, sketches and prototypes.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to present and articulate design decisions to the team.
