Job Description : Portishead Youth Centre are looking to recruit enthusiastic, dynamic and energetic individuals to join our team of Youth Support Workers, to deliver universal youth work sessions for children and young people aged 8+.Our aim is to develop the social, emotional and physical skills of children and young people through fun activities, projects and trips in order that they can grow into well-rounded young adults.The successful candidates will be required to deliver a range of activities including team games, sports, crafts, cooking and other support based activities to engage with young people of all abilities. Candidates will be required to have a high level of enthusiasm; willingness to try new things alongside young people; ability to work as part of a team, and independently and confident in managing challenging situations.We are looking to recruit a number of Youth Support Workers over varying part time, permanent contracts from 3 hours (1 session) per week, to 9 hours (3 sessions) per week.
