Job Description : ACCOUNTANT & FINANCE MANAGER – CREWE – UP TO £60,000 BASIC SALARY + EXCELLENT BENEFITSEnthusiastic and highly motivated Accountant & Finance Manager required for our client who are a leading education support and services provider institute based in Crewe.Our client’s vision: to become a vibrant health sciences campus which inspires collaborations between healthcare, academia, innovation and research to improve patient outcomes and quality of life.Due to their continued success, they now require an experienced Accountant & Finance Manager to work from their Crewe offices.THE ROLEAs an Accountant & Finance Manager your role will be to provide the accounts, manage the finance department and provide financial advice and information to our client’s management teamYou will be responsible for the production of the company’s financial statements and provide oversight and guidance over technical accounting practice and the companies financial controls and proceduresProducing financial statements including management accounts and budgetingYou will also be responsible for the accounts cash and balance sheet monitoring, finance/budget forecasting and to produce the related Board and Committee reportsEnsuring our client meets its regulatory financial reporting obligationsThis is a full-time permanent positionWorking 37.5 hour per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pmBased from our clients Crewe offices with on-site parkingTHE PERSONThe successful Accountant & Finance Manager MUST have similar experienceAn accountancy qualification e.g. ACA, ACCA, or CIMAExperience of preparing year-end financial statements, management accounts, budgets and cash flow forecastsExperience of team leadership and managementSound understanding of financial processes, procedures and regulations that operate in a complex organisationExperience of maintaining the general ledger and helping to design and implement control and process improvementExperience of system implementations and project accounting would be useful but is not essential.This role would suite a candidate with a commercial background in Accountancy and Finance, NOT a practice-based candidateA mix of commercial, group and public experience would be highly advantageousNaturally you will have strong communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise with our departmental heads, professional advisors, HMRC and external and internal stakeholdersYou will have a high degree of self-motivation, initiative and drive and the ability to demonstrate professional resilienceLive within a commutable distance to the Crewe, Cheshire officeTHE PACKAGE£50,000 – £60,000 Basic Salary (Subject to experience)8% Non-contributory pension33 days holiday including bank and public holidaysOn-site parkingFollow us on twitter @ awconsultingltdIn respect to the above role(s), Anderson Wright Consulting Ltd operates as an Employment AgencyACCOUNTANT & FINANCE MANAGER – CREWE – UP TO £60,000 BASIC SALARY + EXCELLENT BENEFITSJob Type: Full-timeSalary: £50,000.00-£60,000.00 per yearSchedule:Monday to Friday
