Job Description : Accounting Bookkeeper / Credit Control AssistantThis is a role for a bilingual Italian / English speaking Accounting Bookkeeper in London. You must be comfortable speaking both languages and strong communication skills in both languages.Job briefWe are looking for an enthusiastic Accounting Bookkeeper / Credit Controller to join our growing organisation.Your role will be to use your existing skills and experience across a wide variety of tasks and responsibilities including posting invoices & credit notes, chasing overdue invoices, posting general expenses receipts, be able to communicate effectively in Italian and English.An effective Accounting Bookkeeper must be an excellent communicator and have excellent people skills as well as being able to self motivate yourself! They must be comfortable on the phone representing our company on the most difficult task which is to get paid! As well as dealing with complaints, doubts and general queries. You will be reporting to our senior Accountant.The goal is to help the company grow by maintaining a happy and healthy relationship with our existing customers and developing new business.Responsibilities: Posting invoices / credit notesProducing Statements and Chasing overdue invoices maintaining always happy relationship with key clientsAccount / Bank reconciliationSuppliers invoice check and arrange Euro payments for suppliers, making sure everyone gets paid on timePosting General Expenses ReceiptsHelp our accounts team in review, complete and file VAT returnsEnter and update customer information in the databaseGo the “extra mile” to get things doneLove attention to detail and accuracyKeep records of sales updates and note useful informationRequirementsExperience as bookkeeper or credit control (or other similar role)Good knowledge of relevant computer programs (Microsoft package software, Sage 50 Accounts) and telephone systemsAbility to learn quick about new products and servicesExcellent knowledge of EnglishExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsCool-tempered and able to handle rejectionWork well in a fast pace environment and under supervisionTeam playerExcellent communication and listening skills to resolve issues and address complaintsA polite and friendly manner (being rude never gets you anywhere)Lots of initiative and a positive attitude of making a difference to the businessWe’ve Got You CoveredWe are dedicated to providing our employees the tools to succeed, as well as to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
