Dev-Ops Engineer
Qualifications –
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Have 4-6 years of experience for Senior Associate
Responsibilities
Develop and maintains Devops architecture
Design and implement secure automation solutions for development, testing, and production environments
Build and deploy automation, monitoring, and analysis solutions
Manage our continuous integration and delivery pipeline to maximize efficiency
Implement industry best practices for configuration management
Secure and manage scalable virtual environments
Continuously evaluate existing systems with industry standards, and make recommendations for improvement
Contribute in the migration activity of solutions using Containerization and related tools.
Required Skills
Understanding of system administration in Linux and Windows environments
Develop and maintain solutions for operational administration, system/data backup, disaster recovery, and security/performance monitoring
Familiarity with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins, Azure Dev-Ops or AWS CodeBuild
Proficiency in infrastructure automation tools like AWS Cloudformation or Terraform.
Proficiency in scripting languages including Bash, Python, Powershell etc.
Experience with infrastructure management and monitoring.
Aware of configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef or Puppet.
Working knowledge of Automation service provisioning and middleware configuration.
Strong communication and documentation skills
Excellent judgment, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Full understanding of software development lifecycle best practices
Self-motivated individual that possesses excellent time management and organizational skills
Exposure to AWS or Azure services – compute/storage/data (EC2, VM,S3,Storage Account etc.)
Preferred
Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Knowledge of Azure Kubernetes Services or Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Services
Aware of Infrastructure monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus.
Skills and knowhow on multiple cloud offerings (AWS/Azure/GCP/Snowflake) will be given preference
