Job Description : Company IntroductionPrecify (www.precify.in ) is an Agri-Technology organization which help farmers in taking up sustainable agriculture practices. The data is collected about farmer practices using farm level surveys, IOT systems that gather weather and soil data. This data is inserted into agriculture models. We also look to provide good price to farmers in markets as these are produced sustainably.Precify is founded by IIM Ahmedabad Alumni with extensive experience with respect to developing and scaling up products and services for farmers. The mission of the company is to make this technology accessible, affordable and acceptable at the Indian farm gate.Position Row Crop AgronomistResponsibilities· To create a deep understanding of the Crops – primarily rice, wheat, maize within the organization· Create a repository of potential regenerative agriculture practices, their productivity, farm practice and economic impact on the crops· Develop a map of the practices followed across India for these crops and their integrated systems· Work on existing crop and soil models to quantify the impact of sustainable practices on environment and soil fertility.Skills & CompetenciesPhD in agronomy, Agri Statisitics or related fieldHaving atleast 3 years experience of working on crop and soil models.Experience / prior research work on Row CropsJob Types: Full-time, Part-time, Regular / Permanent, Contractual / TemporarySalary: ₹500,000.00 – ₹800,000.00 per yearSchedule:Morning shiftExperience:total work: 1 year (Preferred)
