Job Description:
Role Summary:
As an Application Analyst – and a member of the Application, Operations & Service – ‘Customer Relationship Management and Business Process Management’ (AOS CRM & BPM) Support Team; you will utilize your knowledge in technology and processes, products, people and quality concepts to:
Partner with business and technical areas to ensure the technology and process solutions delivered/supported meet the needs of our business partners
Support the Salesforce.com platform and the back end administration applications used to support it’s functionality.
Support a variety of Sun Life Business units with their Client interactions and Automation applications
Provide critical day-to-day technical and process support for the Salesforce.com platform to our business partners
Preferred skills:
3+ years of experience in all aspects of Salesforce.com Lightning development environment including Out Of The Box (OOTB) automation tools, asynchronous and synchronous Apex, Apex Trigger patterns, Visual Force, data migration approach & tools.
Knowledge of monitoring tools including (but not limited to) Broadcom DX suite
3+ years of experience in integrating Salesforce.com applications with 3rd party system using REST and SOAP web service API, and exposure to event based (publisher and subscriber model) is desirable.
Hands-on experience working with many aspects of the Salesforce platform, especially in Financial Services Sales Cloud and Community Cloud. Previous experience implementing Service Cloud channels (live chats, chat bots, etc) is a plus.
3+ years of experience with web development technologies like Java, .NET, CSS, JavaScript, HTML, XML and ECMAScript 7 and beyond Javascript standards (Node JS, Bootstrap, Angular etc).
2 years of experience with code management and deployment tools (Salesforce CLI, VSCode, GitHub, BitBucket, JIRA, Jenkins, Force.com Migration Tool, ANT Scripting, etc.)
Software development fundamentals such as knowledge of data structures, object oriented programming, relational database design, and design patterns.
Design and development experience using Agile project methodology.

Strong communication skills (written and verbal) to express ideas, thoughts and questions so that it can be understood by various audiences and meets the customers’ needs
Adept at working collaboratively as part of a cross functional team to deliver solutions
