Job Description : FRDC – Reporting Shared Services – Application Support (Associate)
FRDC Reporting Shared Services Operate team provides daily BAU support to all SRE Teams onboarded onto CT Tableau/Alteryx environment. Monitoring of all the environments including DEV/UAT/PROD is another critical task performed by our team. The team provides around-the-clock support (APAC+NA) to facilitate business with usage of business functions in IT systems and minimize any service interruptions.
The applicant will act as first point of contact to business users’ issues on email & ServiceNow incidents, own the issue resolution, as well as work closely with other SRE technology teams to resolve issues or mitigate any service interruption in a timely manner. Most issues the candidate will deal with are Technology-centric, hence reporting tool skills and knowledge on processes will come handy in this support role.
Key responsibilities
Act as first point of contact to respond to inquiries or issues regarding Tableau/Alteryx
Proactively work on EURC Deployments in Qlikview/Qliksense/NPrinting
Focus on Monthly releases & partner with SRE teams for their Onboarding requests/DSN modification/Password update etc
Liaise with other teams within the technology organization to drive enhancements towards Automations to add Value addition
Strong focus on continuous service improvement. Analyze issue pattern and identify potential areas for efficiency improvement
Manage stakeholder communication in the situation of technology incidents and provide clear and concise message to keep the business informed about the progress and the root cause
Document the support process and FAQs, and work with team to mitigate any knowledge gap identified
The role involves a high degree of interaction with SRE Technology teams in addition to building close relationships with other teams within technology & business user community

Qualifications
Bachelor of Engineering/BSC-MSC Computers
Experience (Essential)
Must have 5-8 years of experience in production or Operate environment
Working experience with any Data Analytics / Data Visualization (e.g. Tableau)
Experience in ETL tools specifically in Alteryx is highly expected
Basic scripting skills in any programming language (Python, Shell scripting, etc)
Technical Knowledge working on Unix/Linux platforms
Decent SQL knowledge and comfortable with handling large dataset
Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Have general understanding of technology infrastructure in Finance organization
Familiar with issue/problem management processes
Excellent interpersonal skills and be able to rapidly understand and retain knowledge of business processes and the technology systems
Experience (Desirable)
Business domain knowledge on Risk Management, Finance or Compliance would be an advantage
Knowledge and experience on big data architecture (Hadoop stack) would be a plus
Knowledge on Cloud Computing or any Cloud Platforms (e.g. Amazon AWS) would be a plus
Experience with DevOps CI/CD toolset (e.g. Git, Jenkins) would be a plus
Additional information
A flexible approach to working hours is required to support the business. There is a Rota system in place to provide support between 8:00pm ET and 8:00am ET. Candidates will be required to work in shifts on rotational basis.
