The Architect – System Test is responsible for design and development of various test software modules used in embedded connectivity products. Projects could include: Connectivity Modules and Network Gateway Modules, utilizing technologies such as embedded microprocessors, Ethernet, cellular modems (LTE, 5G, etc..), Bluetooth / WiFi chipsets along with GPS/GNSS technology.
Function of the role is to develop, automate Test SW for testing production intent, automotive grade software that enables connectivity and security for future vehicles and mobility solutions. This position is located in our Bangalore, India Office.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering or related Technical Discipline
8+ Years of System Testing of Device SW and Cloud SW.
2+ Years of automotive software design and development experience
Knowledge of Automotive product development life cycle
Mobile/RF communication knowledge (GSM, WLAN, BT, GNSS)
Communication protocols (CAN, UDS, J1939, USB, Ethernet, RS232, MODBUS…)
IOT / Telematics / Connectivity Domain (FOTA, MQTT, HTTPS….)
Security Concepts
ISTQB foundation level certification
Test Automation techniques and Automated test environments (eg. NI LabVIEW)
Knowledge of test tools like CANoe, DSO, GPS (LABSAT), LTE (CMW500) simulators etc.
Experience in running full responsibility of system testing for connectivity product
Knowledge in scripting languages (Python…)
