Job Brief
Responsible for Teaching, providing training in events, and other managerial tasks.
Ph.D. in Physical Education (Mandatory)
M. P.Ed. or Master in Sports/ Physical Education related profile
NET Qualified
1-3 years experience in Teaching & Academic management.
Proficiency in MS Office.
Able to teach Exercise Physiology & Research Project·
Course Curriculum Preparation, Improvement, and Content Development.
Expert in writing papers for Journals.
Prepare subject allocation plans in consultation with Administrative Head
Prepare support materials for the students (e.g. Cases, notes, etc) ensure Uninterrupted Conduct of the classes (Punctuality, Availability of the faculty as well as students)
Ensure proper conduct and decorum in the classes and other activities
Coordinate with the Head of Department and other functionaries to improve the levels of teaching, projects, and general learning.
Support in planning the convocation for out-going batch and Induction/orientation Program for new session batch Initiative taking in other activities appointed by Administrative Head.
Other managerial tasks allotted by HOD/ Director.
Willing to learn and an active listener.
Be innovative in approach.
Ability to evaluate and identify both strengths and areas for development to improve performance.
Ability to work as an individual and as part of a team, a team player.
Can able be problem assessment/ analytical skills for resolving queries.
The Academy of Sports Sciences Research and Management is a research institute whose mission is to have a positive global, economic, and social effect on sports through excellent engineering research, enterprise, and teaching.
Academy of Sports Science Research & Management (ASSRM) is a unit of Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University (DPSRU) established as a State University by the UGC Act 7 of 2018.
We presently run an undergraduate degree program in B.Sc.(Hons.) Sports Science. ASSRM is well-equipped with hi-tech equipment for Sports Science research and application. We strive to develop the young students as individuals who have the innate desire not just to succeed in their own lives but also to contribute to the development of Sports Science in our country.
Students graduating from our department pertain knowledge is Sports Training, Sports Medicine and Biochemistry, Sports and Exercise Philosophy, Sports Psychology, Sports Biomechanics, Anatomy and Physiology, Sports Nutrition, Communication, Digitalization, Anthropometry, Test, Measurement and Evaluation, Health Education, Sports Pharmacy, Fitness and Aerobics, Exercise prescription and concepts related to different sports and games individual or team).
Our students have previously interned in sports organizations such as Sports Authority of India, HTC Sports Company, SAI Sports Academy, Sports consult, Pullela Gopichand Academy, Decathlon Sports Inuteq, Sports Maidan, Indian Sports Star Academy, Sports Kartail, Young Star Academy, and major Cricket and football League teams like Football Delhi to name a few.
