We are seeking a highly entrepreneurial Associate Content Editor to join the IN Media Marketing team to support the the conception, planning, and production of editorial content for a variety of merchandising and marketing programs across business (Categories: Books, Toys, Video Games, Personal care appliances and Software). This role is based in Bangalore.

As an Associate Content Editor you will be responsible for defining our content execution strategy, will own the content calendar and will drive awareness and customer participation across these programs. You will ensure that customer experience and expectations are set and met to a high standard. He or she will execute and schedule content on emails, home pages, category pages, and other avenues across the site. You will also prepare a report on performance and traffic data to our management teams. This person will be involved in coordinating with the category managers, marketing managers, site merchandisers, designers, and other editors in similar roles across the business.

Key job responsibilities

Performing market analyses to identify trends and content development opportunities
Building seasonal content calendars for multiple merchandising initiatives
Pitching editorial ideas and direction to marketing and creative teams
Supporting styling and art direction teams throughout the content production process, including curating products and recommending influencer partnerships
Partnering with marketing, content, and merchandising teams to define and optimize ongoing content strategies
Identifying areas for experimentation across channels, including owned traffic programs and social media
Measuring which content stories are most engaging to customers to inform new content development

A day in the life

Execute highly visible, go-to-market plans for content properties, with a holistic eye on curating thoughtful multi-surface and multi-channel new and existing customer experiences.
Work with internal stakeholders across teams to deploy content marketing communications and promotions to drive customer acquisition, engagement and increase long-term member retention.
Help develop, submit, and manage creative briefs for campaigns.
Manage implementation quality control with partner agencies
