Role/Responsibilities

This role can be based remotely within the tri-state area.
Moody’s is seeking a Associate as part of the Moody’s Investors Services (MIS) Americas Events team. This role will own a hybrid portfolio of events, mainly focusing on third-party sponsorships and senior investor/issuer roundtables. They will also support the wider team on the delivery of webinars, briefings, and conferences.

While the Events & Outreach Associate will be able to deliver successfully on a standalone basis, he/she will also be an excellent team player, working closely with colleagues within the Events team, and with our internal clients to leverage the collective knowledge and skills of the broader group.

This position will have a strong focus on customer service and impeccable logistics with the objective of delivering excellent customer service to both internal and external audiences. Attention to detail, ability to manage within a high demand environment, strong interpersonal communications skills, and a focus on execution and results are a must.

The Events & Outreach Associate will have exposure to senior leadership and will have room to grow within the organization. As a Senior Associate, you will manage multiple responsibilities across the team including:

Responsible for planning, organizing, and executing various events, including but not limited to senior roundtables, virtual webinars, and small to mid-size third party conferences.
Assist on larger complex events within the team, including briefings, conferences, and large-size third party events.
Manage third party conference contracts and relationships with organizations
Execute on third party sponsorship details including registration and exhibit setup and budget details
Provide excellent customer service to all business units and external parties through transparency and constant communication, as well as timely responses to all inquiries and requests.
Establish and manage budgets for each event. Process all event-related invoices. Provide interim reporting to senior team members and stakeholders.
Qualifications

At least one year experience is required, direct event management experience is preferred
Exhibit strong multi-tasking and time management skills, including the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks conforming to shifting priorities, demands and timelines
Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
Exhibit a high level of detail orientation
Demonstrated ability to self-start as well as work as part of a team
Proven history of demonstrating a high level of professionalism and communication with senior stakeholder
Strong learning curve for new technology and software programs
Demonstrable experience of successful interactions with diverse stakeholders
Experience with for CRM, event management and marketing automation systems and software beneficial
Bachelor’s degree is required
Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (i.e., at least 2 weeks after last dose) and, if hired, present proof of vaccination on start date, as determined by Moody’s.
