The Architect contributes to the design and conceptual models on which mobile applications are based and designs the logical structures on which applications or infrastructures are being built, tested and implemented.
Mobile Architect will work with many departments and systems to support business solutions. The role’s primary responsibility is to bring together business requirements with innovative technologies and guide the strategic solution through to implementation. The candidate should bring in top-level skills in enterprise systems and collaboration to help development teams transform technical debt into innovation opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a broad range of knowledge, but also be able to become an expert in key areas.

Architect Responsibilities
Provide detailed technical subject matter expertise on one or more technologies contributing to complex design decisions and detailed problem analysis.Provide technical leadership over large or complex security engineering initiatives where multiple technological disciplines are involved.Influence director level leadership from business and technology disciplines, presenting and delivering highly complex solutions as needed.Act as a leader during high profile problem analysis situations and contribute to ATSV-wide analysis and resolution of major problem issues – provide updates to leadership and governing process management.Lead technical assignments for new product development or integration, process development, product/process improvement.Drive implementation of recommendations.Work with strategic vendors and partners to review and influence product roadmaps, strategies, and plans to ensure alignment with Allstate needs, both current and future.Identify opportunities to enhance process and technology solutions. Create and articulate the case for change by highlighting the potential business/customer benefits.Collaborate with clients and partners to define technology strategies and approaches.
Skillsets:
Discovery and Framing – Analyses business requirements(problems) to translate them into optimal technical solution in collaboration with Product and Business Team.
Defines and produces Conceptual Solution Architecture Diagrams which defines the end-to-end system interactions and depicts logical/physical architecture.
Make sure the solutions are in alignment with the Enterprise future product and TSA technology roadmaps. E.g. deliver APIs which are discoverable on API gateway, preferred Arch patterns etc
Collaborate with Technology Delivery teams to translate Conceptual Solution Architecture into low level Technical Design e.g. help with API Interface specs, message formats, Project structures etc
Contribute to (or Lead) HPI3(Core Systems) Roadmap for AOR
Recommend and maintain the Technology stack roadmap for AOR, in accordance with enterprise roadmap. Define and drive technology/system upgrade/migrations.
Make sure the systems are scalable for future enterprise needs, meets the high availability and performance standards.
Make sure third party frameworks, tools, APIs etc are compliant with enterprise compliance guidelines
e.g. PEAP Approved, Licensing, Security vulnerability free, EOL support migrations. Help AOR with technology evaluations and POCs
Help define AORs enterprise software management processes.
Support the existing systems to keep the lights ON.
Collaborate with various Enterprise stakeholders during design, implementation and deployment to execute the solution e.g. Business, System Analysts, Product Owners, AOR Leadership, Development teams, Infra etc
Primary Skills
Programming Knowledge: Java/Kotlin
Maximum work experience in native android/iOS mobile app development domain
Hands on experience in Hybrid mobile frameworks will be added advantage
8 years of experience in designing and architecting complex application MVC / Widgets / local storage, encryption, TSL, OWSSP, offline-online sync modules solutions across various platforms like iOS, Android, Hybrid
Excellent knowledge of Java.
Excellent knowledge of Native Android Development.
Experience Integrating With RESTful APIs
Exposure to Kotlin language.
Strong Understanding of Mobile Design Paradigm.
Should have good communication skill.
Good problem solving skills with a focus on quality and willingness to step up and take the initiative. Strong Object Oriented Programming Concepts
