Title: Associate Technical Support Engineer

Job Type: Permanent

Job Location: Magarpatta City, Pune – India

(Work from home until further notice)

Years of Experience: 0 – 1 years

Key Responsibilities:
Provide L1 Support to all the application users within Springer Nature
analyzing and troubleshooting technical problems and/or functionality questions and providing a solution to resolve the issue. Issues can be application-specific, and/or related to integrations internal to the product, or with application web server and backend database.
The Role is to deliver high quality support to technical and non-technical users of through email, phone and documentation.
Comply with the SLA for issue resolution
Documenting troubleshooting and problem resolution steps.
Initially respond to requests/incidents raised by users.
Escalate requests/incidents to 2nd level Support Engineers.
Act to restore a failed service as quickly as possible. (e.g. tasks in Translation Workflow Automation systems that have fallen in error stages which require corrective action).

Day at work:
Monitoring and resolving incidents/tickets assigned to the team.
Checking on various services and schedulers to ensure that that are all running and working as expected.
Incident logging and escalation.
Maintaining the Knowledge base and keeping it up to date.
