My client, a friendly, well-established and growing Accountancy Firm based in Central London is seeking an Audit & Accounts Semi-Senior to join their sociable team!
This is a great position for someone seeking a role where they can take on more responsibility and develop their existing skills. On offer is a competitive salary as well as the opportunity to progress within the team. You will work directly beneath a client portfolio Manager, assisting with all necessary work related to their clients and receiving excellent hands on training.
Duties include
Preparing company accounts for FRS 105 and FRS 102 Limited companies
Preparing corporation tax computations for FRS 105 and FRS 102 Limited companies
Auditing of Limited companies
Assisting with personal tax compliance work as required
Responsible for a portfolio of monthly bookkeeping and VAT return jobs
Training and reviewing the work of junior members of staff
Handling day to day enquiries and queries from clients
Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients
Essential Skills and Experience
Preferably AAT Qualified
Minimum ACA Certificate level or ACCA part qualified
At least 3 years experience of working in a small / medium size practice
Strong technical ability
System skills: Microsoft Excel & Office and Xero, Prior use of CCH Software would be preferable but not essential
Good team player able to interact at all levels of organisation
The ability to work under minimal supervision is essential
